Okay - I realize this is several days late, but I wanted to do a post about New Year's Resolutions! I am well aware that no one EVER actually keeps up with all of their resolutions, but there's something great and refreshing about making new ones every year. For me, it's all about new hope. Here is my post about resolutions from last year. Just for kicks - I want to list the ones I actually did complete:
1) I read several books! Maybe not 7, because I kind of lost track - but at least like 5! That's exciting for me!
2) I paid off all my credit card debt! Done! Feels amazing!
3) I helped one animal get adopted! It was little Millie!
4) I got through the Book of Genesis. That one was tough - but I did it!
5) There was one secret resolution - and I totally achieved it! It was to try for a baby. As you can see below, it worked! (Thanks for the photo Hudsons!)

Anyways - not to ramble on - but I have a couple of Resolutions for 2011. Here we go:
1) Read the books of Exodus & Leviticus
2) Pick a church to attend regularly
3) Give birth to a sweet baby girl, and learn how to be a Mom
4) Help an animal get adopted
5) Get back in shape after baby!
Here's to a happy and healthy 2011 for everyone!

wow...dedication, to say the least!
congratulation you are blessed ;)
thanks good care of yourself
Kind of random but I just clicked the "Next blog" link and ended up on yours. I see one of your resolutions is to read Exodus & Leviticus, awesome goal. They can be tough slogs (especially Leviticus) so I would suggest picking up "Exodus & Leviticus For Everyone" by John Goldingay. I spent a lot of time in Leviticus for my masters degree and I can tell you that John is a top notch scholar that has a real gift for explaining the text to everyone. I have several of the books from that series and use them frequently in preparing to preach.
Oh and congrats on the baby! My wife is getting quite the baby bump too.
